I love this vacuum. I did lots of research on this model. I currently own an Oreck and a Riccar. This vacuum is now my "go to" vacuum. The stair handle is brilliant and makes cleaning stairs so much easier. I don't have any wood floors, but it does super on tile. It transitions from the tile to my kitchen throw rug with ease. The vacuum did try to suck up my bathroom rugs even on the low setting.
The portable canister that came with the upright is great. It has all of the attachments and the the suction is top notch.

Great vacuum! Replaced my canister vac for something with a bag and had only used it for about a week and there was an easily noticeable difference in the amount of dust in my home. Lightweight and surprisingly low noise.

I purchased the Hoover UH30010COM a week ago from Amazon and so far I must say that the reviews are pretty accurate. This is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever bought. We have several cats and lots of carpet. Our house in now cleaner than it has ever been before. It is also comforting knowing we have a 6 year warranty should anything go wrong. We are Dyson converts and I think we are going to stick with Hoover for a while.
