We will look at many steps during our adventure together, me writing and you reading. Yes, I know I am not actually there with you having an adventure, but if you ever get the opportunity to write a book I think you will realize it is an adventure, and I am glad you're sharing it with me.

An Author, Not A Writer
I am relationship guide, an author... not a "writer".
One thing I should tell you is I am an author, not a "writer". I have no education in literature other then a few years in a local bible college. It taught me nothing about how to write a book. So I am going about this in a style that may not be very proper, but it's all I know. I am typing like I would talk, simple and straight forward, easy to understand and very few large words.

Learn to be great now, so you can achieve greatness with your partner later.
Greatness is the best personal level of enjoyment in life you can get. Before you start to scratch your head over this, let me explain. Every man, woman and child in this world really only wants one thing, to be happy. Being "great" is simply that, being happy. I mean happy with life and all that is associated with it. Happy with your partner, your spiritual life, your mental state, your physical state and all these things you were happy with when you were a youngster.
When you were around 5 or 6 years old, the only thing that it took to make you happy was maybe a football and a few friends (and by God you were not only happy but ecstatic!) Your joy was absolute during the Saturday afternoon neighborhood football game. In short, it was freaking easy to be happy.
Now 15 to 20 years later, you're figuring out it isn't that easy anymore. So how are we going to prepare our life to be happy? By planning in life to make decisions, here and now, that will help you achieve greatness in the future. And not just decisions, but GOOD decisions that will make a difference in years to come.

If you are very lucky, you have a family you can talk to, a family that can communicate, and you are smart enough to listen to them.
