How To Plan A Hen Night

Some simple and fun ideas to help you plan a great Hen Night.

Planning a Hen Night for a friend can be easy, do you want it to be fun, memorable and a night to remember as her big day approaches?
A hen night is a special night in a woman's life, maybe once in a lifetime, but if you have the responsibility of making it enjoyable it's hard to know where to start, but it can be done as long as you plan ahead!

To make the night special for everyone, consider giving a small gift at the start of the night. Personalised Hen Night Shot Glasses are very popular at the moment and become a souvenir for the whole party to keep and cherish.
Depending on your budget, personalised compacts, or engraved Keyrings to remind everyone of the Hen party are also a great idea.

Get The Hen Party Started!

"L" plates are a must for the Bride, but T-shirts with a slogan are good for the rest of the party if you want to keep it simple. Just a flashing Tiara or a Hen Night sash will complete the look.
Try and match the costumes or any decorations with the venue if you can, it would look awful in the photos if the party colour was bright Blue and venue coloured Orange.

If the party isn't set in one place, but is a tour of pubs or clubs, consider clubbing together an hiring a stretch Limo for the night to get everyone safely from place to place.
If you're planning a party abroad, only choose a destination and venues recommended by someone you know.

If a wild party is out of the question, then consider hiring a restaurant for the night, plan when to have the activities, and buy a decorated cake for the bride, then bring it out at the end of the night.

Depending on the guests sense of fun, you may want to consider a male stripper. If you do make sure there are a couple of disposable cameras around for some fun and embarrasing pictures.

A Quiet Hen Night

For a quiet Hen Night, consider taking everyone to a Spa, or hold the night at home and hiring a masseur and beautician to visit.
Relaxing Hen nights can be just as fun, make sure you have some photo albums of the bride for everyone to look through and get some good stories about the bride from friends and family.

You can make the night more fun by hiring someone like a Tarot Reader to tell people's fortunes, even a belly dancer, or a pole dancer to come and give you lessons in sexy dancing. Another tip for a larger party is to hire a barman that can teach everyone to make cocktails.

As long as you start planning as early as possible, you should be able achieve a Hen Night that the Bride and party members will talk about for a long time.
Good Luck and Have Fun!

Great suggestions! Another better one would be having a removable dance pole for your friends to dance with. Your friends will surely love a new way to enjoy the party with pole dancing.

Given the time constraint, a pole dancing on a hen party would be great. It would only require small effort for the event organizer and resources may actually be achievable. You can rent or buy today a removable dance pole. I actually bought one last month when we had our hen party with my girl friends! Anyway, thanks for the article! it's nice!
