One good idea is to combine a constant portion with a variable component, usually with letters (which may either be big or small fonts) and numbers as elements. Dates of special significance (eg, birthdays, anniversaries) or zip codes or any other event with impact may also be considered. But when the memory fails, the use of a small notebook may be an option. This may be handy but the downside is it can be lost.
