Dog Owners Unknowingly Encourage Aggressive Behavior

Dogs are not born with aggressive behavior, they have learned it somewhere in their life. For example dogs that are kept on a chain for long periods of time soon forget their gentle puppy ways and they begin to think that anything beyond the chain will harm them, so they attack.
Another scenario is the dog whose owner jerks the leash every time another dog is around. The dog learns to dislike other dogs, thinking this is what their owner wants. The dog has not been taught how to behave properly, and it is their owners that have taught them how to act this way.
