At last the email address of the gmail support team made public!

I had my gmail account compromised through my own stupid fault. I have another lens about that if anybody wants to know how this lens came about and how to make yourself safer when you are a newbie on the net.

I contacted the account dept at gmail by filling in the form and they told me (I am pretty sure by auto-email) how to reset my password so I got access to my account.

But the first thing the fruadsters did when they got into my email account was to forward all my mail to another address. So I tried to contact gmail to find out how to stop this. I went to "help" and ended up in the question and answer forum. So I joined one of their discussion groups (3 days later I still have no answer). I went round and round in circles for hours always ending back at the question and answer section.

So I searched the www for an email address for a person to contact. All I found was other gmail account users with the same question-WHAT WAS THE EMAIL ADDRESS OF THE GMAIL SUPPORT TEAM?

Well 48 hours after I submitted my compromised account form I was asked for feed back about what I thought. So I told them straight and at last the gmail support team contacted me.

SO HERE IT IS.......the email address of the Google gmail support team is (imagine fanfare and drum roll here!)

mail-support@google.com

Don't expect much support though. So far all they have done is told me how to reset my password (already done via the automated system) and basically told me it was my own stupid fault by reminding me, by directing me to their terms and conditions, that my password was my responsibility (already knew that piece of news -I was a complete idiot). They still haven't answered my one and only question. How do I stop my mail being forwarded to another address?

So if anyone has the answer to that I would love to hear from them pleaseeeeee!
