How To Lose Baby Weight | The Introduction
Hey! I'm taking a wild guess here, but you must be here because you are:
1) Looking for a way to find How To Lose Baby Weight because you have noticed pregnancy weight gain and think it's time you get back to your pre-pregnancy figure.
2) Currently pregnant and looking for information about what to expect after pregnancy. You will also want to know how to lose weight after having a baby
Losing weight gained from a pregnancy is different from other situations because it involves putting on mandatory weight whilst being pregnant. Losing it can also be much harder because you'll be caring for your new baby, and will be feeling tired a lot of the time! In this article I am going to give you information and show you How To Lose Baby Weight, and hopefully you'll be back on your way to your pre-pregnancy figure!
Lose baby weight Safely!
Safety is the key. I don't care what any other guide says, you and your baby come first and this involves taking careful measures during and after pregnancy. I'm going to explain why healthy eating is a must in losing baby weight and overall how it will help you and baby now and in the future. You will need to have patience if you are going to lose baby weight, because it's highly recommended you don't do excessive exercise during the first 6 weeks after giving birth to your child. During these 6 weeks you will feel fatigue and you shouldn't be doing excessive exercise within this time frame. At 6-weeks you should go to your postpartum check up, and most probably your doctor will give you the thumbs up to start exercising regularly. At this point you are now on the road to re-gaining that wonderful figure you had pre-pregnancy. Remember, Safety ALWAYS comes first... What to expect?
Ok so now I drilled the safety element into your heads, it's time to talk about what you are to expect during and after pregnancy regarding weight loss. Do not expect to lose weight super fast, because you won't, and if you do it's unhealthy and should be avoided at all cost. You have to remember it took you NINE MONTHS to put on the weight. NINE MONTHS is a lot of work to lose, and it will take time and motivation. Time being the door and motivation being the key. You WILL feel tired most of the time, this is to be expected. If you are doing an activity and you are feeling tired or uncomfortable stop what you are doing and take it down a level. You should never push yourself too hard. You will find yourself wanting to eat when you are not actually hungry, and you should find something to do that will take your mind off food during these times. This is discussed in further detail in the next section. You are expecting to put on around 25-35 lbs on average. It will be a difficult first 6 weeks or 3 months depending on how you are eating, and exercising but all you have to do is look at your baby and then you know it's totally worth it. Healthy eating and exercise is a must!
Let's go into a little more detailing about exercise and healthy eating... It's crucial to eat healthy for you and your baby if you are going to breastfeed. Did you know that breastfeeding actually helps in the future? It's been proven that it makes you put weight on slower. It's also good for your baby because you are feeding the child everything they need naturally. You'll want to stay away from fatty foods and eat things that have good nutrients within them. So be sure to eat plenty of the following things:- Whole grains
- Vegetables
- Milk products
- Meat and protein foods
Like I said in the previous section, you'll often find yourself wanting to eat when your body isn't actually hungry. Distract yourself when this happens. You can fit joy, exercise and bonding all in one activity when avoiding foods. Let's think of some things you could do!
1) Take your baby for a stroll to the park on a nice Sunday! You are enjoying yourself, whilst exercising and bonding with your baby. How awesome is that? This will be a great activity that will help you lose baby weight.
2) Play with baby! Depending on their age you can pick them up and do little dances! This has the same effect as the above!
3) Clean the house! Sometime it may be a pain but hey it gives you something to do and you will be burning fat whilst doing it!
3 tips that will help you lose baby weight, and I'm sure they're more!
You should be following a healthy diet plan now, and also have a regular exercise plan which will bring me to my next section...
