How To Marry A Millionaire

Ranked #5,649 in Entertainment, #70,018 overall

You've watched the Bachelor, you've followed the bust up of every "high society" guy in the news.

You know the best country clubs, know which fork goes with what and can just see yourself living in The Hamptons, Vauclause or Notting Hill.

But there is one small catch... You're still single... by choice.

Your father knows plenty of "Solid" guys at his bowling league and your mothers hairdresser's son is "pretty" and always smells so nice.

So what's the hold up?

You have always wanted more out of this life...

More money, more attention and more luxuries!

But how does a girl like you get all this and more?

You have to think big... Plan, stratergise and play the game.

Well heeled guys aren't about to coming banging down your door because you looked so cute through the drive thru window.

And men with money and the looks of George Clooney, Brad Pitt or Patrick Dempsey aren't about to fall from the sky in their private jets and know exactly where to find you.

How do you meet a millionaire?

To meet millionaires you need to hang out with Millionaires.

What do people with money like to do?

Apart from working harder than most and always keeping an eye on their business and companies, when these men and women get time off they usually spend it relaxing.

So where and how would you relax if you were a millionaire?

Sailing anyone?

It's summer and you've worked all winter long and you've got the $$$ to spend, then a private yacht would be rather appealing for cruising through the summer days with friends.

Check out your local Yacht Clubs, Marinas and Sail shops and schools.

The sport of Kings.

If you had some money to invest, then a race horse is a good start.

Plus it's a great excuse for guys to sit in the members area and watch all the pretty fillies come walking by... and by that I mean the ladies.

Red or White?

Imagine owning your very own vineyard for you and your friends to enjoy.

There are now thousands of privately owned vineyards in Australia alone.

Apart from being a great place to hang out with friends and ease into summer, they are also a great investment opportunity and millionaires stay on top by not sitting back on their laurels but because they like to invest and create new markets.

Maybe a trip to the local vineyards is a one way to spend your weekend?

Can you say Google?

One of the biggest area's where Millionaires have been made is the internet.

The geek, that you wouldn't give the time of day to at school, is probably worth more than the rest of your class combined.

The internet millionaire is generally thought to be young and shall we say, dorky, but this myth needs to be busted right now.

Millionaires are made at any age.

Ex-Rugby League star Mark Coyne created www.Sold.com.au which was later sold off to eBay in early 2000 and still redirects to eBay to this day.

Mark was definitely not dorky or 18 when he hit it big.

Start looking out for up and coming companies and ideas that are looking for expressions of interest or investors.

Check out the guy who always buys the investor and marketing magazines at your local newsagency.

A bit of inside information

Take note:

Not all men or women with money will dress in Gucci,Prada or dripping with Bling... They could appear as the most normal dressed person you have met and sometimes even very under dressed.

I once worked as a PA for a very wealthy businessman in Australia.

One part of my job that wasn't in the job description but that I felt needed was to dress this man.

I took him shopping and we did spend quite a bit of money on clothing, but it was from places like Colorado and Just Jeans.

I wanted him to be able to meet women looking nicely dressed but not always wearing a $5000 suit like he had previously.

I also made sure when he went on dates he didn't take one of his brand new toys:

A Lexus 4wd, Ferrari, BMW, or Mercedes covertible.

He never took a first date on one of his very expensive yachts or fly her in his private helicopter to a romantic location for dinner.

I wanted this man to be liked for who he was, not what he could offer the hundreds of women attracted to just his wallet.

If marrying a millionaire is what you've always wanted, then do your research.

A Word for the Wise

A word for the wise

Anyone can slap up a website and claim to be a dating site just for meeting the right millionaire and for you parting with obscene amounts of money.

Research

Ask for feedback and phone numbers from satisfied clientelle who have used the agency.

Don't be afraid to ask what the agency's success rate is?

Ask to see their PR material and any write up's they have done or any feature articles they have been a part of.

Any good agency will have success stories.

Find out what your membership fee actually gets you?

Does it cost you more if you need to

:Update photos?
:Personal information

Do you have to pay for contacting the agency after hours?

How do they find these Millionaires?

Can YOU ask for a background check on your potential date?

Ask what their mission statement is?

A good agency should be contacting you weekly, to see how YOUR life is travelling, what changes you may have made in your life.

If you join an agency and you only hear from them to tell you your payment is late, then I would suggest asking for a refund and going elsewhere.

Once you have all the information then do some researching yourself.

I have a friend who met a lovely guy through a dating site and he claimed to be their Max Factor heir... a little bit of research proved he was a liar, but not before this friend had her heart played with.
