Okay, so you have decided to set up an on-line business.

You have either decided to affiliate with an established product, build your own on-line business from scratch, decided to cyberfy your offline business or you have jumped on the Network Marketing bandwagon.

Whatever the reason you have made the decision, and the commitment, perhaps built a website, and you are ready to go. So...Now What?

The next step is getting people to visit your website. Piece of cake! Right?

Wrong. Sorry. 

If you think all you have to do is put your site online and because of the shear integrity and appeal of the site the Google robots are going to take favor on you and subsequently list you #1 in the search engines and miraculously 10's of thousands of people will come pouring in credit cards in hand ready to buy, well I'm sorry. It just doesn't work that way.

However you are on the right track, the most valuable, targeted, and action ready audience you could ever hope to achieve is traffic generated from Search Engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN as well a few others.

The trick is getting your webpage ranked. You may have heard of a term called SEO. What SEO stands for is Search Engine Optimization. That is exactly what it is. SE0 basically optimizes your website to get highly ranked into the search engines.

Of course Search Engines are not the be all end all in the marketing world, there are many many other sources of traffic that when used together with a systematic approach will not only help you to achieve the best  SEO but also bring you a steady stream of traffic.

The trick to doing this successfully is to DO IT LARGE.
