An interesting site

My top tips...

The top third of the card is the only bit of the design which shows on most display stands - make the top bit count!

Many companies will ask that you do the original artwork bigger than it will be printed.

5x7 is the usual format for most cards.

The chances of your designs being accepted the first time you send work off (however good they are) is very remote - Be prepared for stacks of rejection letters.

Patience, persistance and originality are just as important as artistic talent.

Women are the main buyers of greeting cards.

Find out the sumission requirements from each card publisher, and then follow them exactly. If submission details are hard to find... Write in for them.
