Hi dc64, I agree, eating healthy can be more expensive...especially if your body is not used to the healthy food. But to be honest, I find that lately I eat a lot less as my body is getting used to healthy foods and is able to absorb the nutrients better. My cravings for junk and fast foods have decreased tremendously and even though I'm still spending more, I am starting to see a decrease in my spending for food.

I would encourage you, even though things are tight to start making small changes so that it don't affect your budget to much. In the meantime, I hope that you'll feel better soon.

Great tips, and I'm sure this works, but healthy food is SO expensive. The funny thing is, I have the flu right now, so I happened upon this a bit late. I would love to eat fresh fruit and veggies, I love them, and for those who can afford them, you don't know how lucky you are! Eat 'em up! 5 stars for the good advice.
