Any time you start shopping online I recommend you use a credit card. Credit cards offer you some form of fraud protection just in case you do get a poor seller. If its your first time shopping ebay or other online store I recommend setting up a Pay Pal account to make your life easier. That way you can fund the account with exactly the amount of money you want without being afraid of someone racking up huge charges on your credit card. Ebay and most online vendors these days will accept either PayPal or credit cards.

When learning how to shop online take the time to fully read the item descriptions paying attention to return policies, shipping costs, and warranty information. Many first time online shoppers fail to fully understand exactly what it is they are purchasing and that ruins the online shopping experience for them forever. If you ever in doubt about a particular online store or seller you can check the BBB online site to see if there are any complaints filed against them. I highly recommend this for sites you have never heard about before. When buying on ebay don't be afraid to email the seller and ask questions if you have any doubts about the item they are selling. Again, you want to make your first online shopping experience a good one not a nightmare.
