How to Stop a Toothache
Vicks Vapor RubApply a dab of Vicks Vapor Rub on the side of the face where the pain is. Place a paper towel on top and lay down in bed. The heat from the Vicks absorbs into the skin and brings you toothache relief.
Hall's Cough Drops
Halls Cough Drops have a small amount of anestetic in them. Pop a couple into your mouth and let them disolve.
Listerine or Other Mouthwash
Many mouthwashes, like Listerine, kill bacteria. Most toothaches are cause by bacteria eating into the soft tissue of the tooth. You do the math. Try gargling Listerine.
Maximum Strength Orajel Gel
Okay, this is actually recommended for toothaches -- but it doesn't hurt to mention it.
Colloidal silver
Not sure about this one, but we have seen it mentioned several places. Colloidal Silver can be found at health food stores. It may have antibiotic properties. Hold a dropper-full under your tongue and then swallow twice daily.
