How To Train My Dog

I wanted to learn how to train my dog to stop digging. Chiquita was a very good dog, but I needed to find a way to teach her to stop digging. She would dig under the fences and end up in our neighbors yard and sometimes she'd dig under their fence to get to the dog run.

One of my neighbors didn't mind at all having Chiquita come into her back yard, but I didn't like the thought of having tunnels under that fence even still.

The neighbor on the other side was furious and threatened to call the authorities if I couldn't control my dog. I can understand his frustration, but I felt he was a bit harsh for a first offense.

Finally, the neighbor behind us is deathly afraid of dogs - even our little Chihuahua Chiquita, who's as non-threatening as a dog can be.

So, I had to do something. I didn't want to upset my neighbors and the thought of Chiquita getting hit by a car trying to go to the dog run was very unsettling.

This lens will document my journey to training Chiquita, and subsequently Bones and Buddy. I found out I actually enjoy training my dogs and they enjoy it as well.
