That leaves $1045USD for entertainment etc.

You can purchase a vehicle or motorbike. A good used car runs around $5000USD.
A new motorbike, 100-125CC, around $1000USD.

To obtain a Thai retirement Visa the law states that you must be 50 years old and have a retirement income of 800,000Thai baht per year. However you can live much cheaper than I do at my $2000USD per month budget in Chiang Mai and other parts of Thailand.

Now that you see how I do it we can help you get started once you arrive in Thailand.

We will help get you started, settle in, learn the culture and language. Show you where to shop, eat and entertainment spots. Purchase a vehicle or motorbike.

Prices shown in US Dollars are at the exchange rate of 35 Thai Baht to 1 US Dollar.
