- As a parent and a physician, it was greatly disturbing to me that the leading cause of blindness in the world was Vitamin A deficency. That something so preventable would condemn so many in the poorest parts of the world to a life even worse than what their peers already suffer though. Thank you Howard for your great work and for giving me and others like me a chance to contribute in our little way.
