I caught the Friday viewing of Iron Man and I have to say, Iron Man ROCKED! It was everything I expected and more. Howard, Bridges and Paltrow did exceptionally good jobs in their roles, really capturing the feel of the comic, but Robert Downey, Jr absolutely stole the show! He had Tony Stark nailed down pat and pulled off this role with ease.

I was happy to see that only Obediah was killed (unlike other movies where some of the best villians are chewed up and spit out with no chance of a return!) At least this way, Iron Monger can always be reused to aid someone else. What was really cool was the foreshadowing of things to come in sequals (Mandarin, War Machine and the Avengers, just to name a few!) I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet, but be sure to stick it out through the entire credits role-- in true Marvel movie style, the ending scene will give true fans goosebumps!

I was mostly impressed with the development of the armor and how realistic it all looked. The special effects were awesome to say the least!

If you haven't seen Iron Man yet- you're missing out! Waiting for the Iron Man DVD will never compare to the feel of watching Iron Man on the big screen!
