FYI: most of the clip art images are from Microsoft Clip Art that came on the PC I was using when I composed this lens. (I now have a MacBook--thanks to earnings from Squidoo!).

A Boomer Looks for a Reason to Go ON!

Hello Out There!

I am over 60 and have been looking for "a reason to live".

Guess what? I found one: Creating lenses on Squidoo! And it is fun! It is also addictive!

One day I woke up and discovered that just babysitting grand kids, helping my husband with HIS hobbies (see my Squidoo page about NASCAR dollars ), or planning a wedding for the youngest daughter did not make for a fulfilled life. Even finding great deals at Costco did not satisfy my need for a reason to smile!

Yes, I love my grandbabies - and my husband - and my daughters, but I needed something that was just MINE alone.

But what did I have to offer? Boy did that take some thinking! (If you have not guessed, my self-esteem was at a low tide.)



So what DO I have to offer the world?

    My husband totally supports my Squidoo addiction. He says he is so glad I am happy again. I am happy that I've found the perfect place to express myself too.

    I did, but did not make the cut until April 2010. THEN I went on to get in the 100 Club! Creating 100 "quality lenses" was tough, but well worth it!

    Now (April 2010) I am a SquidAngel! It pays to get involved on Squidoo.
