I don't know you so I can't comment on your recipe. Mine however, is 9/10ths positively adjusted self talk. This self talk leads to proper attitude and proper attitude to proper action. Proper action yields the results you seek.
How do you begin? You get the right information. There are lots of ways to do this but they will cost you a year of spare time effort and many more failures than necessary to get your desired result.
The main ingredient is you and how you talk to yourself. Let me not lead you astray by letting you think this is easy. It isn't. It is very effective. It does yield reproducible results that add together for a final result that you desire.

What I am foing to do about my last 20 pounds of fat
I have been on a weight plateau for almost 2 years. After losing 25 pounds I stalled and stayed there. It is called energy balance. I kept my calories quite low and ate a perfect low fat diet. Everyone always says, "You eat so healthy!" I am beginning to think not.It is about the calories but is also about the hormones those calories stimulate. Hormones like insulin, a little of this is good but a lot can make you gain fat.
Then there is the issue of sweets or foods that taste sweet or are sweet. What am I talking about here? It seems sweet taste is something our ancient ancestors only ate in late summer. It was a signal for their bodies to store fat for winter a time of famine and relative low activity.
I want to tell you more and lead you by example. I will be updating my blog readers with special reports each week when I begin on April 1 - no fooling!

The Three Whys
Why you don't lose fat and look better naked is no secret. It is hard and much easier to lose than it is to keep off. The main reason you aren't successful is that one approach does not fit all. There are general principles that apply to everyone's physiology but you are unique. You have to find your own way and you haven't connected with that way yet.Why is most information CRAP? Because it is about the money. This is what they say: "Here is my plan they say. Here is a picture of other people who used it successfully. You can be just like them. Now click here and give me your money, I guarantee you will be satisfied." Rarely if ever can this work long term for anyone.
When we change and losing weight means you are changing behaviors and attitudes, we go through 6 stages. You can't skip them and you will be in some much longer than others, but you need a coach to get through them and stay at a body fat percentage ideal for you.
I can help you because I am a health care provider who has a special interest in health and not in sickness. This is the Top of the of the home Tanita scales. I was trained on it at a weight management course I took. A Bariatric nurse says they use this scale in her weight management clinic to measure body fat.
