Iargo Springs

Ranked #10,336 in Travel & Places, #263,678 overall

I vist Iargo Springs about once a year. It is one of my favorite places to travel to in the beautiful state of Michigan. The springs and waterfalls are down about 300 stairs, and the walk is definitely worth it because the scenery is like no other. I really appreciate the peacefulness that this spot has to offer. It is truly a place everyone should visit at least once in their life.

Did You Know?

It has been said that this mystical site was used by Native Americans who believed the water there held magical powers.

Interpretive panels tell how the springs are formed and how the site was used by native Americans who gathered there for tribal powwows believing the water held magical powers.
