If I Had $1000000 - one of the first songs by BNL and possibly their most popular one
If I Had $1000000 - possibly the most famous song by the Canadian indie musical group Barenaked Ladies - was written by Steven Page and Ed Robertson. It's one of the first songs by BNL. The song first appeared on the Barenaked Ladies first independently released tape entitled Buck Naked. The song subsequently appeared on their second and third tapes, Barenaked Lunch, and The Yellow Tape, as well as their 1991 EP Variety Recordings, and their debut CD - Gordon.
The song is very popular all over the world, a must on every BNL tour, and it's one of the most loved Canadian songs, voted #2 among the Top 50 Essential Canadian Tracks.
