Oh the passenger
How how he rides
Oh the passenger
He rides and he rides
He looks through his window
What does he see?
He sees the sided hollow sky
He see the stars come out tonight
He sees the city's ripped backsides
He sees the winding ocean drive
And everything was made for you and me
All of it was made for you and me
'cause it just belongs to you and me
So let's take a ride and see what's mine

The Stooges became infamous for their live performances, during which it was not uncommon for Pop (who traditionally performs bare-chested) to self-mutilate, verbally abuse the audience, expose himself and leap off the stage (the first or among the first to stage dive). The Stooges were unsuccessfully nominated seven times to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before it was announced they will be inducted as part of the class of 2010.[http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/31347779/iggy_pop_on_his_emotional_reaction_to_the_stooges_hall_of_fame_induction Iggy Pop on His "Emotional Reaction" to the Stooges' Hall of Fame Induction Rolling Stone December 15, 2009]
