The Ultimate Wacom Tablet: The Cintiq Interactive Pen Display

This page is dedicated to the giant magic paper that is the Wacom Cintiq interactive pen display, forever may it replace our airbrush, oil paints, watercolors, and pencils (until it falls and breaks in an earthquake).

The Wacom Cintiq Pen Display Product Line

Here's $5000 of techno-wizardry

I got my Cintiq 21UX in December 2007. The DAY AFTER I charged mine, they released the other two awesome models listed below. I paid it off completely two weeks ago. Last week there was an earthquake that knocked off my desk and cracked my glass, so off for repairs it is.

Here's a run-down of the different Cintiq's available. They're now more affordable than ever with better features than even just a few years ago.

Cintiq Gaming

Break Out Starcraft or go grab Command & Conquer 3

The Cintiq is awesome platform for RTS (Real-time Strategy) games such as Command & Conquer. Instead of moving your mouse around the screen to select units, you merely tap on them on screen. Talk about sweet. This guy looks like he's having a good time.

Tragedy Strikes My Cintiq!

My baby looks like a cracked winshield.

During the 5.4 earthquake that originated almost next door, my Cintiq FELL OFF MY DESK. It landed on the wheel of my office chair and cracked the top layer of glass. It's super tough though, because it still feels smooth to the touch. I'm just happy the LCD underneath didn't break or I would cry. Lucky for me it's repairable for a few hundred bucks. So, as soon as I can part with it I have to box it up and send it to its maker in Washington.
