The Bieber Fever Epidemic! Is there a cure?!?!

My daughter is infatuated with JB! OK I mean obsessed! To the point that it is all she ever talks about! All day long, every conversation we have she involves Justin Bieber somehow! how much is too much? Is it OK for me to tell her that I am sick of hearing about him all day long? Should I continue to act interested even though I am not? Now, don't get me wrong, I like the kid. His music is pretty good for a kid, and I know he has worked hard and made his life what it is by pure dedication and determination. That alone is a positive example I would like my Daughter to learn. I think he is a positive influence on my Daughter and has helped inspire a new level of confidence and determination in her. She has learned to lay guitar and speak French because of him which is great! I just wish she could pay as much attention to the things that are important as she does him. I mean she knows everything there is to know about the kid, yet I have to repeat myself everyday to get her to remember how to do the same math problems! Why can't she retain math formulas but she can write a biography on a person she has never met? Is this typical for a Tweenage girl? How much is too much? Is there a cure?
