A recent article in the Winter 07 edition of Ryerson University's (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) alumni magazine highlighted young entrepreneurs who are moving ahead in this collaborative new world of work. Chris Nguyen, Sundeep Mokha, Andy Lai and Lee Liu graduates of Information Technology Management, decided not to sign full time corporate employment but instead move forward with their idea for a new commuter friendly job board.
Job Loft.com is a small but powerful job board developed and launched last spring after receiving a $15,000 loan from the Canadian Youth Business Foundation. This loan was a result of their 2004 entry into the School of Business Management's annual Standard Broadcasting Business Plan Competition. This next generation job board is revolutionizing recruitment in the retail, food services and hospitality industries.
