Independent Film Project (ENTER)
Ranked #109,878 in Entertainment, #1,221,230 overall
Annotation:
A desperate young man awakens trapped in a bizarre labyrinth with amnesia and sets out to solve the puzzle and find a way out, but has to play by the illogical rules of this nightmarish world and its quirky inhabitants.
Tagline:
Every exit is an entrance
My take on the screenplay:
I have tried to create a screenplay for film that is a work of art, but does not remain incomprehensible for most casual viewers. I wanted to challenge the audience intellectually and allow every person to create his somewhat personal interpretation of what he is seeing, by not leaving him as a static spectator, but actively involving him in the process. Although the genre of the film can be defined as 'psychological thriller' it is a search in the depths of fear, as one of the main human emotions. It was necessary for me to take a journey and research into all registered human phobias, fear neuroses and nightmares that every one of us happens to dream. I aimed at creating a screenplay that startles the viewer and engages him on a psychological level, without the need to use special effect for re-creating supernatural elements.

Why do not you find producers and do it like everybody else?
Finding producers for a first feature film might not be as easy as you think. I had the screenplay reviewed by some people in the industry and the common opinion was that this script is very interesting/strange/bizarre (it was even compared to Lynch and Fellini!) and it will be almost impossible to find a producer for this type of film, since people like to invest their money in already proven concepts (and we get to watch the same films over and over).
