What is the Integrated Success Program?

The Integrated Success Program is a combined set of resources consisting of a web-site, blog, forum, Squidoo pages and a Yahoo Group intended to facilitate dissemination and discussion of many of the classic works in the Personal Development genre.

Principle amongst the authors of classic texts is Napoleon Hill, arguably the most well known of the authors for his landmark "Think and Grow Rich" and the companion "The Law of Success".  Other authors include Charles Haanel (The Master Key System), James Allen (As A Man Thinketh, Byways to Blessedness, Light on Life's Difficulties, etc), Russell Conwell (Acres of Diamonds), Emile Coue (Self-Mastery Through Conscious Autosuggestion) and Ralph Waldo Emerson (Compensation). The works of other authors will be added over time.

The Integrated Success Program is intended to provide the student of Personal Development with the tools needed to implement self improvement.

Integrated Success Program web-site

Classic Personal Development texts

The Integrated Success Program web-site is the backbone of the program, having digital copies (ebooks) of many of the classic texts in the Personal Development genre. Some of the texts, such as Elbert Hubbard's "A Message to Garcia" are relatively short while others, such as Charles Haanel's "The Master Key System", are hundreds of pages in length and represent a stand alone Philosophy of Success.

Some of the authors are very well known. A very good example is Napoleon Hill, author of "Think and Grow Rich" and "The Law of Success", both of which present his Philosophy of Success.

Other authors are less well known, even obscure, yet have highly motivational (i.e. Elbert Hubbard - "A Message to Garcia") to inspirational (i.e. James Allen - As A Man Thinketh, Byways to Blessedness, etc) messages.

The web-site was developed so as to offer the various texts as ebooks to interested students. There is a brief biography for each author as well as a description of each ebook. Some texts pre-date the birth of Christ (i.e. Epictetus), however, most were written in the late 19th to early twentieth century. Despite the age of the texts, the wisdom is still of great value and worthy of reading. Many of today's self-help gurus have freely acknowledged their foundation as being derived from the material from some of these earlier authors. Indeed, many quote Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" as an integral component to their own success.

The interested student of Personal Development is strongly encouraged to visit and explore the material contained within the Integrated Success Program web-site.

Integrated Success Program Blog

A Wealth of Additional Content

The Integrated Success Program blog blog was developed in support of the web-site (discussed above). The blog consists of a wealth of diverse content in support of Personal Development, derived from a variety of sources, with posts and pages of opinion, factual information, compilations of resources, YouTube videos, etc.

For example, a search of available YouTube videos for Napoleon Hill resulted in the discovery of a total of thirteen videos in which Napoleon Hill presents aspects of his "Principles for Success". This material is covered in greater detail in his texts "Think and Grow Rich" and "The Law of Success", however, the videos offer great value as reinforcement and a summary of these principles.

A great example of the type of additional, supporting material contained would be that of Earl Nightiingale, one of the great spokesmen and orators of the twentieth century, as well as being a strong proponent of Personal Development. There are several YouTube videos capturing Earl Nightingale presenting some of his material in the "The Strangest Secret" and "The Boss". As an example of the mutually supporting nature of the material on the blog, some of the material Earl Nightingale presents in "The Boss" strongly resonates with the message presented in Elbert Hubbard's "A Message to Garcia".

As a further example, students may have heard reference to a "Vision Board", however, those having access to a computer and some basic skills may prefer to devlop their own Mind Movie. A vision board is static and is available exclusively to the sense of vision. In contrast, a Mind Movie accesses both auditory and visual signals and is, accordingly, a more powerful tool.

These are some brief examples of the material available within the blog and the manner in which it supports a program of Personal Development.

Integrated Success Program Forum

Classic ebooks available

The Forum is available for discussion of ideas, opinions and interpretations pertaining to the broad field of Personal Development. Over time, it is expected that the Integrated Success Program will develop an audience of interested readers willing to participate in discussion intended to explore and/or elaborate upon ideas and concepts.

Many of the ideas, methods and techniques utilized for Personal Development are controversial. Perhaps the best example is the "Law of Attraction", as popularized in the movie "The Secret". Using fuzzy science, particularly a misunderstanding and erroneous application of aspects of Quantum Physics, proponents of the Law of Attraction claim that the vibrations of a thought held in the mind can manifest itself as the object / outcome desired. On the other hand, opponents, such as myself, have tried to address the misunderstanding / misapplication of Quantum Physics with regards to achieving a desired goal.

It is anticipated that some participants may not wish to participate in the Forum and/or feel uncomfortable with the lay-out or structure of the Forum and may, as a result, prefer the Group setting for discussion.

Interested visitors are strongly encouraged to visit either the Forum and/or the Group and review the topics contained therein. Please feel free to make your presence known by posting your comments for others to read and respond to in turn.

Integrated Success Program Group on Yahoo
This group was created to discuss thoughts, opinions and interpretations originating, in part, from the classic personal development texts (James Allen, Charles Haanel, Napoleon Hill, etc.) and other related topics of interest (i.e. Law of Attraction, Creative Visualization).

Researching the power of the mind and, more specifically, the sub-conscious mind over the past twenty years has allowed me to discover of many gems of wisdom buried in these timeless texts, as well as more recently published texts. The recent release of "The Secret" has had the result of drawing considerable attention to the "LAW OF ATTRACTION", however, I believe the process underlying its application to one's life was missing from the movie.

Contrary to the hype attending release of "The Secret", the LAW OF ATTRACTION is not a recent discovery in metaphysics, nor has it been actively suppressed by the Church or hidden societies. It simply passed into relative obscurity through the passage of time. It has been, and remains, available to everyone who searches for it and is willing to actually apply it to their lives.

The formula is available, and is, in all likelihood, well known to most. In its simplest form, it was concisely summarized as follows:

Ask and it will be given to you;
seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you.

For everyone who asks receives;
he who seeks finds;
and to him who knocks, the door will be opened

Matthew 7:7 (Luke (11:9) NIV

In short, visualize your desired outcome, then take the appropriate action to receive its manifestation. ACTION is an integral, necessary part of the three part formula to realize (manifest) your desired outcome.
