This lens is at it's best when it's a conversation... here's your turn.
The Power & Magic of InterNetwork Marketing
Success in marketing always comes down to one three-sided thing. And...
Success in network marketing always comes down to that same thing.

Saying the right things to the right people at the right time.
Saying the right things to the right people at the right time.
Saying the right things to the right people at the right time.
Saying the right things...
to the right people...
at the right time.
"Saying the right things" is, of course, critically important. (And you can begin to learn some valuable and useful new ways of doing that here:
Squidoo.com/SpeakingAndListening.)
But the power and magic of InterNetwork Marketing lies in (all) the way(s) Web 2.0 (and above) helps you find the right people… at the right time…and more of them than was ever possible before.
And btw, this is NOT that easy, because it requires hard and smart work and a good amount of both. (Sorry, but it's time somebody said that.)
InterNetwork Marketing can be a morass...
Besides the fact that there are dozens of different approaches and strategies out here/up there… and your job must be to find your own mix of the two or three that fit your skills to fix your focus on (because any&8212;much less many—more than that will cripple ALL your efforts and have you spinning your wheels in very costly mud)&8230; the biggest question is "Who can you trust?" Which of the myriad of Internet marketing icons, offerings and gurus are the REAL DEAL?
Here's one (yes, there are a few others) that get's almost everybody's highest marks. Certainly mine.

First, visit their weblog here: http://stomperblog.com
And at the very least, watch this extraordinary video here:
http://www.stompernet.net/goingnatural2
If you're building your network marketing business online, forget "please" and just do it (watch the video and visit the weblog). Bookmark them, tell ALL your friends & colleagues and give them stars when and where ever you can.
Whose Space...
Of everyone on the Internet, 64% visit MySpace, 29% visit FaceBook, 35% visit YouTube, 27% visit Wikipedia. Social Marketing is the biggest "where it's at" there is online.
Waaaay back on August 8, I wrote in TheFoggBlogg that there were 195,465,953 folks on MySpace (give or take those thousands with multiple pages), adding that that was, "approximately 3 percent of the world's population" and... "If MySpace was a country, it would be the fifth largest population in the world, right behind Indonesia and ahead of Brazil."On August 21 (at 3:13 AM), MySpace had 197,638,350 members... 2,172,397 more people had joined in a little less than two weeks. That's 167,000+ a day.
On September 1, MySpace was up to 198,794,572. 1,156,222 more members in 10 days. That's only 115,000 or so per day. Do you suppose they were slipping?
Today (01.09.08), MySpace has 218,439,664.
There has never been a marketplace like it... ever.
Whose Space (continued)
The old gray mare... Old dogs, new tricks... But I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now... and on the "old" adages go.
"They're starting to understand their age group-they're living it," says Susan Ayers. She's talking about venture capitalists and their new interest in older people as online users, reports Matt Richtel in The New York Times (9/12/07). It seems that a few v.c.'s, some of whom are growing older themselves, suspect that their high blood-pressure is caused by teens who "flit from one trendy site to the next." So they are turning their attentions-and investment dollars-to "a host of new social networking sites aimed at baby boomers and graying computer users." Says Paul Kedrosky, a venture capitalist: "The older demographic has a bunch of interesting characteristics... not the least of which is that they hang around." More of the article here >>(The piece ends) Peter Petzaris, president of Multiply.com, says "96 percent of the company's active users returned each month," suggesting a certain "stickiness" that youth-oriented sites may not be able to match. In any case, the raw numbers certainly favor boomer networks-"there are 78 million boomers-nearly three times the number of teenagers." What's more, "the number of internet users who are older than 55 is roughly the same as those who are aged 18-24, according to Neilsen/NetRatings.
___________________
Fascinating (to me). I've thought that if MySpace published their stats we'd learn that there was more of their 200,000 new members a day growth coming from an increasingly older demographic. We (the older ones) may not have the fast fingers trained by hours of Play Station needed for a life of text messaging, but I'm convinced more older people will be taking over Web 2.0 as time goes by...
"The one thing this generation hasn't done yet is network online."
Oh yeah. InterNetwork Marketing indeed.

I recently recorded one of The MasterMind Sessions with Lasse Rouhiainen (the link is to his Squidoo page) titled "How to Promote Your Business On the Internet". Here's the Session description:The advent of web 2.0-social and business networks or "platforms" such as MySpace, LinkedIn, Ryze and websites like Squidoo, has placed the power of the Internet into everyone's hands. Lasse has thrown himself into learning and sharing his discoveries for promoting your business with a host of value-added strategies, relationship building and free online tools.

How To Get Free MLM Leads + Traffic Secrets! (Vol. 1) 0 points
Shipping & Receiving
InterNetwork Marketing is all and always about speaking with people...
One of my teachers, Kurt Wright, said:
"The number one cause for network marketer's
failure is having the wrong agenda. They set out
to "GET" people to become customers...to "GET"
people into the business."
What do you do when someone (even some loved one) tries to GET you to do something?
Most people react to someone trying to GET them to do something-even when it's "good for them"—with resistance and a fight or flight response. It's the same on-line as off.
With Shipping & Receiving, the agenda is simply to CONNECT with people through CONVERSATION and see if your product/ service/ opportunity and especially you and that person are a FIT for each other. This approach is rejection free and has much higher odds for success.
The four phases of "Shipping" (in this order, because one MUST come before the other and leads to the next) are:
Relationshipping, Friendshipping, Partnershipping
and Leadershipping.
Do this "shipping" business well and you will receive all the personal, professional and financial rewards this remarkable business offers. The more and better your shipping is, the more and better your receiving will be.
There's more on Speaking & Listening and Shipping & Receiving in my Special Report, The 4 Cornershones of GET RICH SLOW. (Don't you just hate that title... Thing is, it really is the fast way of all.) It's a FR33 (cute) PDF. Just click the title link above.
It's all (and always) a conversation...
Whether with your mouth and ears or your fingers and eyes, successful InterNetwork Marketing requires you master the skills of Speaking & Listening
If you continue to speak the way you've been speaking...
If you keep on listening the way you listen now...
Will you achieve the results you desire in your life and work?

For some inexplicable and bizarre (to me) reasoning, many people beginning to build their network marketing businesses on-line have the idea they won't have to "talk to people". Very wrong! InterNetwork Marketing is exactly the same game as the "old fashioned" P2P (Person-To-Person) belly-to-belly deal... same rules... same strategies, talents, and skills required to win.
What's different about network marketing online is convenience (working only when and where you want), comfort (it's safe and secure; you only get as close and connected—and vulnerable—as you choose), reach (instead of dozens to hundreds, you have access to millions), speed (the Internet is mostly immediate and travel time is nil), choice (you only connect with the people you want to—and you know lots more about who and how they are before you contact) and rejection free (just click DELETE and they're gone... or you are). There's more, and that's already way more than enough.
Whether you're dealing with the subject line of an eMail, the headline and copy on a webpage or profile, the questions you ask/answer in an Instant Message, a weblog post or comment, dialogue in an online forum... it all comes up and down to your ability to speak and listen. And the more and better a speaker and listener you are, the greater the value and advantages people will believe they have in getting into relationship and partnership with you ('cause it's all and always about YOU.)
SpeakingAndListening is a great resource for you...all free...right here on Squidoo. Please visit, "Stop, Look & Listen" and leave me a comment about what you find most useful and valuable.
Now, about publishing those articles...

Most techniques to improve your search engine rankings have one thing in common -- keywords. Choosing appropriate keywords is extremely important. Think about it: Keywords are what lead search engine users to your site. How to choose your keywords
Choosing the right keywords is the first step to better search engine positioning. Analyze your business carefully and think of all the words that relate to your company or product.
Let's say you sell sheet metal. What words would you search for when looking for the same product? Ask your colleagues and friends to think about the same question. This is perhaps the most important stage in your war for a spot in search engines' top 20.
As you think about keywords, consider the following:
Who needs your products?
Think about who will use your products, then target them with keywords. For example, if you know that people in the fabrication industry need sheet metal, add words like "sheet metal fabrication" and "custom sheet metal" to your list.
Include variations of your keywords
People will search for your site using all sorts of keywords. Making your site easy to find means including misspelled, capitalized and plural keywords. Always include the longer forms of keywords too.
Avoid wrong keywords
Do not use "stop words" -particles like "and" and "the" and common words like "industry." Remember, the more specific your keywords are, the better the chance that people who find your site through search engines will actually benefit from its content.
Look at your competition
If you have any competitors that are doing well online, look at what terms they're advertising and ranking for. You can get ideas for your own terms by doing competitive research.
Use suggestion tools
Numerous suggestion tools are available to help you pick keywords and research keyword alternatives. Check out Digital Point's Keyword Suggestion Tool, which has results from both Overture and WordTracker, Google's Keyword Tool is also very useful.

Cool stuff that Informs, Involves and Inspires...

Dave Lakhani, described by some as a "Marketing Genius","Business Acceleration Strategist" and "Multipreneur" is a speaker, author and trainer. In his "spare time" he interviews smart people with something important to say. One such person is Seth Godin, and ion this interview with "The Man" of all things marketing, Dave plays Larry King with Seth about The Dip. Valuable and useful stuff.. Click the link to listen, learn and prosper.Dave Lakhani Interviews Seth Godin.
Now, the review...
I am a speaker and sometimes I "pander to the crowd". I'll say nice things about the people paying me. I've never found myself way out of integrity—and at times, I have stretched it a bit...(I usually notice this after the talk).
Not now, however. Not with this.
The last book I've read really IS The Dip by worldview lensmaster, Seth Godin. And...it IS one of the most valuable and useful in recent years (for me and all my projects). As the man says, it's "...a mind grenade, a little bit of insight that will help you see what's causing your organization (or you) to get stuck." Here's more:
What really sets superstars apart from everyone else is the
ability to escape dead ends quickly, while staying focused and
motivated when it really counts.
Winners quit fast, quit often, and quit without guilt-until
they commit to beating the right Dip for the right reasons. In
fact, winners seek out the Dip. They realize that the bigger the
barrier, the bigger the reward for getting past it. If you can
become number one in your niche, you'll get more than your
fair share of profits, glory, and long-term security.
Losers, on the other hand, fall into two basic traps. Either they
fail to stick out the Dip—they get to the moment of truth and
then give up-or they never even find the right Dip to conquer.
"I don't claim to have all the answers," Master Go' contends. "But I will teach you how to ask the right questions."
A book for all "Grasshoppers" invested in any endeavor from marriage, to losing weight, to InterNetwork Marketing. It's in a new catagory (think worldview) for books (think Self-Help): Seth-Help.

failing, and they will quit within the year. That's unnecessary and unacceptable! We can change that. Now."
