Have you hugged an e-friend today?
I have friends around the world that I've never seen, and yet we exchange cyber hugs on a regular basis, especially when we need a bit of cheering up.
Today is the first day of spring, 2008, and it brings a smile to my face and a warm feeling, too. The long winter is coming to an end and we can look forward to warmer weather, flowers blooming, birds singing, and all the other things that are a part of spring and summer.
So, to make it even more special, I'm declaring that today, and each first day of spring henceforth, shall be known as Intergalactic Cyber Hugs Day!

It's not nearly as good as a real hug in person, but when we're separated by hundreds of miles (or maybe a few lightyears), it's the thought that counts.
