Promote Your Business-Not His!

Well, there certainly is no shortage of internet marketing companies out there! But, what about successful marketing on the internet? What are all of these companies doing? It seems there are too many Chiefs and not enough Indians in these so-called "opportunities".
I am tired of seeing the same names being thrown around the internet. Go to Youtube, MySpace,you see the same names over and over again.

I think it is fine to have mentors, people you can model after. But, why would anyone promote someone else in their own marketing? It is time that marketer's understand the concept of "Brand You Inc" type methods. If you expect to be a leader to those potential clients or partners, you must market yourself.

In your marketing campaigns speak of what you can offer as a leader. People need to understand you. Why would they choose you to follow. How are you going to help them succeed. Lastly,you need not be the millionaire the CEO of the company is. You are tangible, accessible and passionate about your business, not the CEO's.

If these methods do not come easy for you, perhaps you need to re-evaluate your reason for wanting success in internet marketing. Most successful people in business for themselves have bigger reasons then just making a lot of money. Most have defined what success looks like. They have always seen themselves living a certain lifestyle. They are committed and focused on the "dream". Each step is laid out to help make the "dream" a reality. Most important is how they will give back to their community,family and mentors.

Leaders think not of themselves, they think of everyone else.
