At first glance Site Rush seems quick, it appeals to all types of skill and financial backgrounds, it deals with a growing business model trend known as site flipping and is pretty inexpensive to try out, so I went ahead and bought Site Rush, a digital downloadable guide, to see what it does, whether it's possible to jump on the site flipping bandwagon, whether it's possible to do with little money and how easy, hard, or risky this approach to making money online truly is.

Site Rush is based around buying and selling websites for profit, just like in the real world of property investment. The difference is of course, much less risk and less upfront work to make a big profit.

Site Rush shows us 14 methods to flip websites, structured around 3 tiers (which are easy to hard, low income to high income). It goes into expansive detail about using arbitrage methods to buy and sell all kinds of assets for huge profits and very little hands on work (in some cases).

Site Rush is a pretty large guide, with accompanying videos which summarize the main written material for each section.

As usual, the sales letter comes across as cheesy, hype driven and often hard to believe in places...although very luring and persuasive at the same time. Nothing new here then!

I noticed several spelling mistakes in the sales copy which really put me off...it just looks unprofessional and makes me feel as though the guide will be written poorly too.

Add to that, the huge figures mentioned in the sales copy and it soon starts to feel like you're listening to a young kid tell you a story about how he did something really cool and brave, but there were mysteriously no witnesses...

That's probably a little unfair based on reading the sales page alone. So after buying the guide and getting started straight away, I felt that the manual was laid out and does get straight to the point of the content (which there is a lot of!)

The first level is based around a quick buy and sell approach which after reading the first few pages, it is undeniably clear that you can make a few hundred dollars per week using this painfully basic approach alone...and that's if you're lazy.

The next model is called the "Advanced Hunter Marketing" method where you basically research a market, negotiate a deal to buy an underdeveloped site in that market, then do a full renovation on the site to triple, or even quadruple the site's value.

This is much more advanced and takes time, but the 6 steps that you are taught in this method are proven in the real estate investing world (and this is no different in principle to that).

This second method requires more upfront capital to invest, which you should have by now if you've been using the first method to generate quick cash from simple site flips. But don't risk a penny until you're confident with the overall process and have a good feel for what sells and what doesn't.

The more advanced models of site flipping explained in Site Rush are more risky and require more upfront money, but there is a lot of detailed steps explained showing you how to gauge the value of a site, whether the details that are listed are legit and add up and also whether there is any real long term potential in the market/website overall.

This info is really in depth and helps out tremendously as you look to part with more cash, but don't expect to get your usage out of this area of the guide until you've really got your feet wet with the basic methods first.

In fact, it's easy to be tempted to move ahead in the guide before you've really got a firm grasp on the basics, so be warned!

What really struck me about Site Rush is that it is less of a step by step guide and more like an entire world of thinking (and doing) outside the box. In other words, it opened my eyes to how easy it really is to earn money using the internet without having to follow the tedious and jaded eBook selling, article writing or expensive PPC advertising methods (although they can fit IN to this system if you want them to).

So there it is in a nutshell. Should you buy it? I think so and I have had it past 60 days now and did not ask for a refund. But should your opinion or indeed profits be different than mine then you can get a full refund within 60 days and keep everything to boot!

As you probably realize I sell a lot of products online mostly in the internet marketing genre but other niches too. I have tried in the past using eBay but never had good results so basically left it alone. Anyway along comes Sky High Auctions (http://www.skyhighauctions.com) a high ticket course claiming to turn you into an eBay pro seller in no time at all. Initially like many marketers I was put off by the large number of emails which were the normal over hyped stuff, not from the creator i might add! Anyway I managed to look past this and I took a look at the info and it did seem pretty persuasive but then don't all the big launches?

Anyway it comes with a money back guarantee so I bought it thinking if it Sky High Auctions did not deliver then I would get my money back. I have now had the course for a week and there is no danger I will be returning it. It really is top notch stuff and i have already made some significant sales of products that had stopped selling through normal internet marketing methods. This is pretty incredible when you realize I have only watched the beginner video so far! We all know the impact video has made on the internet marketing scene and with the advent of youtube, google video etc it has now gone beyond the realms of fantasy. Gone are the days when we received internet marketing ebooks and guides (good or bad.... mostly bad!) for our hard earned cash. Nowadays it is all done by video. Personally I think this is a great thing. Video packages are much easier to follow and with the high speed internet connections available today, either downloading them or watching online really presents no problem.

The question is where will this all lead? Are the days of the internet marketing article over? Can you see the day when ezinearticles becomes a youtube type site full of videos submitted by the public? With the recent advances in video creation software being able to create your own video is now a breeze, there are even sites where you can create your video online. So how long will it be before there is a video site version of article directories? Youtube is almost there already although you might say it is more entertainment based ( well some of it) rather than information based.

Article directories themselves have become devalued in the search engine's eyes, with a few notable exceptions, probably due to the thousands of article directories that sprung up over the last two years, trying to cash in on the article marketing niche. I certainly would not suggest setting up an article directory now, the train has truly left the station. I have actually revamped two article directories I created and sold another one. The traffic has dried up and more importantly the income has dropped dramatically. So how about setting up a youtube clone? There are several software packages out there but the big downside is the amount of space the videos take up and without paying for a very expensive hosting option or preferably a dedicated server.

So how can we cash in on the video craze? I have actually been trying to get a script created by programmers to create a video site using the videos from other site, notably youtube and google video but none of the results achieved the required format, so when I received an email form JPS about a scritp he had created I was obviously very interested. I jumped aboard and tried it out but to be honest the results were very basic and the click through test on an adsense test I ran were very disappointing. I contacted him and he informed me he was releasing a new updated version so I sat back and waited.

I got Niche Video site Builder V2 a little in advance of the general release and have to say it is a great improvement. It is probably the easiest website creation script I have ever seen for an ordinary site let alone a video based site. I set up this site Golf Videos in about 2 mins, no joke! All you have to do is input your Keyword and adsense details and upload it to your site and your done! It goes to youtube and grabs relevant videos to your keyword. I have not bothered optimizing the site yet although you do get some great instruction videos and have already noticed a very healthy click through rate and even more importantly I am getting very high dollar amounts per click. This probably is helped by the fact the visitors are spending a decent amount of time on the site while they watch the vides and we all know how much google loves time spent on site.

There are other scripts out there that do a similar job but the great thing about Niche Video site Builder V2 is it delivers closely related videos unlike the others which end up with you getting some really weird and NOT wonderful results. Anyway if you looking to start creating some new sites I highly recommend you check it out. Video is definitely the way forward both from a human visitor point of view as well as the Search engine bots and as mentioned gives some really good results from adsense. You can actually use other ad formats to like yahoo or msn and even put affiliate links instead, it just requires a quick and easy edit of the template.

Google Pagerank Slap

So our good friends Google are at it again it seems, this time the "slap" is with pagerank. I just happened to be checking some of my new sites and noticed some very healthy pagerank numbers so obviously was quite pleased. However when I checked some of my more established sites and they had all taken a hit, just by 1, from 5 to 4 or 4 to 3.

Anyway immediately got out the jungle drums and pretty much everyone I have spoken to have taken similar hits so it looks like it might be an across the board thing. We all know it was more difficult to get from pr4 to pr5 than it was from 1 to 2, 2-3 etc but it looks like maybe they have made it harder from 3-4 as well now.

Not really concerned as if everyone is in the same boat its a level playing field right. Maybe they could be putting even more emphasis on age too. Most of the sites that took a hit were less than a year old. However I actually bought a domain a few months back which had some existing links, only about 6 or 7 with google, no pagerank and put up a site on it 3 weeks ago.
