Introduction to the Portal and It's Creator & Editor

I refer to myself as an internet marketer and entrepreneur with over six years of experience in internet marketing, specifically affiliate marketing and SEO, several years of experience with PPC, email marketing and web analytics as well as over two decades of experience in software development and computers in general, including web development and database development. My background is business and IT consulting and support, where I basically functioned as the adapter or translator between the business departments and the IT departments. My education was also focused on business and IT.

I am today working as a super affiliate and are primarily in paid search, but also use SEO for some smaller web projects that I have. I am a writer and blogger about the subject of internet marketing, an affiliate marketing evangelist and available as consultant to companies who need some help with figuring out the right internet marketing strategy for their business.

I provide many useful resources for internet marketers related to the numerous subjects of online marketing, which I collected for my own business use over time, on my personal/professional Internet Marketing Resources web site at Cumbrowski.com. It's more than just a handful pages with some links. That is how it started a couple years back, but it grew to way over 100 pages of content over the years. It became a full blown portal to the subject of Online/Internet Marketing for one-person companies of entrepreneurs to marketing professionals who are working for Fortune 500 companies and everybody in between

Keyword research is the bread and butter for both Paid Search Advertising (PPC) and also Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Know what tools are out there, ranging from basic tools that are free to expensive and powerful commercial tools for big budget advertisers.
Competitive Intelligence Resources
Know your enemy or in business your competitor, his weaknesses and also his strengths. Find out what he is doing right and emulate or replicate what works and avoid makeing the same mistakes as he did or is currently doing and wastes your available advertising budget.
Web Analytics
You don't know what did happen, if you do not measure and track key events that occur on your web site. You cannot make educated and facts based guesses or predictions about possible effects (positive nor negative) of changes to your site on your business' bottom-line. If you don't track, then making changes is pointless to begin with. Asking a fortune teller who "reads" the life-lines of your hand would probably have a higher chance of success, even though you don't know for sure, because you don't measure it. ... etc. etc.
Email Marketing
Having a list of email addresses of people who gave you the explicit permission to alert them about products or services that you or a partner of yours has to ovver is worth multiple anonymous visitors to your site that came across it by accident. You might or might not have to offer anything that they could want and seek. They might even completely ignore your offers Users that gove their email address to you with the permission to alert them about stuff related to your site are more likely to pay attention to what you have to offer.. and the best thing is that you can repeat this over and over again, making one-time customers to loyal customers with multiple orders created over time. Find tools and services that help you with the hosting, management, maintenance, cleanig, verification, and creation of such lists or the creation, testing and trecking of such mailers
Domaining
Domain name research, registration, management, parking, monetization, trading and much more. Resources for serious Domainers or marketers who want to become serious about this. Domain names are the real-estate of the Internet. You need tools and services to make your research and keep on top of the real-estate that you already own.

If you are taking the time to make comment on this lens, chances are pretty good that you are a marketer yourself.
