Definition: This type of income is similar to rent. There is really minimal effort required to receive the income.
Here are a few that seem to be working for people. I am just starting with this and really have no comment on the success rates. I have researched this a lot and it seems like it should be a low risk.

Website - Selling an eproduct or products with an affiliate type income. Examples of this is SFI, Build a niche store and Cafe Press.

MLM type products / tools
ViralPond - Helps you save time. There are currently over 9,000 people that have signed up. This is also a downline builder for many programs.

Traffic Exchanges / PTC (Paid to Click) - This is income from surfing and viewing websites. Income may be in the form of cash or credits. The credits may be used to refer your people to your sites. Generally there is a small income that can be received by viewing a site and then an additional income opportunity for providing referrals.

Affiliate Income - The selling of either informational or physical products for a commission. There is no handling of the product.

Adsense - Similar to Affiliate Income but big enough to stand out by itself. Owners of websites with content or without,allow the placement of google ad words on their site. Ads typically relate to the content on the site. As buyers click on the ads, the site owner gets paid a commission. Site owners benefit most with higher traffic sites. Those sites with more content will draw more people to the sites.

Advertising - Sell advertising space on your website or blog. It is kind of like renting out some of your space where advertisers can get traffic of their own through your site or blog.
