- I was eating right and jogging 3 to 4 times a week and could not lose a pound. So I started to do interval running and I have lost 7 pounds in 2 weeks. It really does pull the weight off.

- Interval training really is a great way to get into shape. We used to do it in football training and it really works.

- Kaiser, i would rate basketball as a type of interval training but not Hiit. If you are trying to lose weight quickly hiit a healthy diet would be the answer, however it sounds like you enjoy your basketball so defintitely don't give it up.

- I already cycle and jog but will now try this technique, it sounds like interval training could really pay dividends.

- This sounds like it could make a real difference.According to my knowledge the right way to measure the effectiveness of interval training has to do with your pulse (Your age matters a lot).

- I have been running for many years now. I like long distance running a lot but I do include interval training in my weekly routine. It increases my average speed and as you said, it burns fat like crazy!
