I attended an Investools 2 day seminar back in February of 2008. The following is an account of my observations of Investools seminars. The seminar cost $1995 was held at the Charlotte Holiday Inn.

At the preview presentation, Investools offered all of us its two-day stocks workshop at a special values of $1995.00. This included the two-day stocks workshop and also a six-month membership to its speculative database and entrance to its web based stocks course. They also promise ungoing support for the materials included in the $1995.

Throughout the presentation, it was quite clear who the workshop was devoted to the topic of trading stocks. Investools also has much more advanced courses available online..

On the initial day of the seminar, we were supplied material containing content for a two-day workshop on the subject of stocks. The presenter on the first day stuck with the content of the stocks workshop, in on a brief digression into selection of stocks to trade.

I was completely satisfied through the first day of the workshop, so I elected to return for the second day - meaning such a my payment $1995.00 was binding. You may elect to not attend the second day and a refund will be given. You must give back the material of course as well.

On day 2 of the seminar, the instructor (a different instructor than day one) totally ignored the remaining content of the class and instead pimped the $4995 upsell product.

It was apparent that the Investools sales team at the seminar used the entire second day of its stocks workshop to market its high end products.. They totally went off the syllabus for the second day. Investools is owned by Think or Swim. Investools has a wide variety of courses available from between $3000 and $12,000. They Include various Associates, Masters, and PhD programs. They do provide good information, but at a steep price. In my view cheaper information can be found elswhere online etc..

The last afternoon "break" of the day lasted much longer than an hour to give the sales staff a chance to do some selling. funny huh?

After the seminar was over the basic communication I had with them consisted mainly of more sales pitches. I have used some of the material that I learned at the Investools seminar, but I didn't wantt to shell out the several thousand more for the software.  Instead I now use the stock screeener software MARKETCLUB from INO.com.

MARKETCLUB.COM

The Marketclub software and video tutorials allow me to find all the stocks ready to move!  I do not follow any singe persons advise blindly, I always use my own common sense as well!  I have found that if you understand basic human phycology, then you will understand the stockmarket as well.  After all it is moved up and down by consumer phycology.

Have a blessed day!
