This blogger has an excellent grasp of current events, writing in a casual style that cuts through the most complicated concept to explain it in terms anyone could understand. The Expenses page, for instance, has a couple of very good items on protecting your credit cards as well as a look at retailers' tricks to separate you from your cash.
The General Stuff page is equally informative, touching on subjects such as making your business profitable, tidying up for Chinese New Year, building links and more. There is some humor thrown in there, too, as it is throughout the site. This blogger's style is refreshing, taking subjects that are usually dry and a bit boring and enlivening them with his own unique viewpoints as he presents facts and information.
The Tech page is another good read. When I visited that particular day, there was a video of the new Asus Eee PC 900 laptop that I'd never heard of but I found very interesting. A comparison of notebooks and desktops with all their advantages and headaches as well as an item on PC breakdowns made this page well worth the visit. There are also short tips on how the deal with Google Analytics, web hosting and laptop bags.
The Blogging category has a well-written article (first in a series, apparently) on how to succeed at this latest internet feature. There is an article on earnings made for posting and one on Wordpress 2.5 complete with screenshots and a variety of other entries related to blogging. If you thought blogging was just for bored young people, this will set you straight.
There is even a category called Taiwan Life that showcases the country and includes some truly breathtaking photos by the blogger. He explains the political climate and the cultural aspects of Taiwan from an insider's point of view, and takes the reader with him on a trip to the local flower market complete with photos!
There is nothing typical or boring about InvestorBlogger.com! I would like to see the site map a bit easier to find but all in all, this is a blog definitely worth reading and revisiting.
