Do you think we should support our troops?

Our involvement in taking out Sadam Hussein's regime in Iraq, and tirelessly pursuing the establishment of security, order and peace in Iraq has been a long and controversial ride. We all have our opinions, strong and solid regarding the Iraq involvement.

Regardless of whether one supports the war or is aggressively against it, there is still one cause any good American will want to get behind. The well being of our young men and women currently in harm's way. Many of these brave individuals have left their personal world of family, friends, careers and even education. They spend many days and nights in a harsh climate, almost as harsh as it's political climate. Risk of injury and death is ever-present.

Because of this, not only do we owe a debt of gratitude to them, but we can do our small part to help brighten their experience in little, but meaningful ways.

Among the many services USO provides, they're probably best known for entertaining our troops around the world. Contributions have helped troops have internet access which is essential to keeping in contact with loved ones. Soldiers who have recently had a new child come into their lives will easily be able to be updated with pictures, medical information, progess on first steps and first words.
