Let me start off by stating that I thought this was a very good biopic about the legendary Hector Lavoe. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony both did an excellent job in their portrayals of Lavoe and the fiery Puchi.

The Wedding Planner
I love this movie. It's very sweet and touching. Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey have great chemistry. The Wedding Planner is by far my favorite Jennifer Lopez movie.

An Unfinished Life
This is a character driven movie with solid performances from Redford, Lopez, and Freeman. Although it is not a comedy, there are many funny lines and character quirks that make you want to keep watching.

Bordertown
I was actually skeptical when I first came across this movie. But I took a chance on seeing it. Now I can't wait until it actually comes out on DVD. This is an EXCELLENT film. Being that I'm a US Citizen living in Mexico for a few months I see exactly what the film is talking about.

Shall We Dance? (Widescreen Edition)
As far as remakes go, this one isn't too bad. It's hard to translate the cultural aspects, which play a major role in the original Japanese version, but they managed to recreate that part of the conflict quite nicely.
