J399 Creativity & Content is a new class, taught by Professor Deborah Morrison, at the University of Oregon's School of Journalism Communication. Here you will find books and links covered in class and a few things I think are cool. Enjoy.

From the syllabus: "The purpose of this class is twofold: first, to make your creative process more easily understood and accessible in a professional context; and, second, to identify best practices for the creation of smart content in a varied world of media and messages. It is a course dedicated to experimentation, professional standards, and cross-discipline thinking."

Morrison is the Chambers Distinguished Professor of Advertising at the School of Journalism + Communication. She teaches conceptual thinking, creativity and content, portfolio, and campaigns courses from a social responsibility perspective. Prior to the University of Oregon, she was the leader of Texas Creative at the University of Texas at Austin for 18 years.
