Jamie Kennedy Bio

James Harvey Kennedy was born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, on May 25, 1970. At the early age of 15 he became interested in acting and appeared in his first movie at age 19. Since then he has played in many movies including the Scream series as well as his own movies like Malibu's Most Wanted and Kickin It Old Skool. You can see him most recently in the tv series Ghost Whisperer.

Jamie Kennedy Movies

Jamie Kennedy made his claim to fame in the Scream series playing Randy Meeks. In 1998, he even won a Blockbuster Award for Best Supporting Actor in a horror movie for his role in Scream 2 (1997).

Jamie Kennedy Malibus Most Wanted

Malibu's Most Wanted

Jamie Kennedy as B-Rad
In 2001 he starred in Malibu's Most Wanted as B-Rad Gluckman. He plays a wannabe rap star from Malibu who acts and talks like he's from the "'hood." His father is running for Governor and B-Rad often makes his father look bad. So they hire actors to disguise themselves as real gangsters. Hanging out in Compton he gets himself in and out of trouble.

"Don't be hatin'"

"My name is B-rad. Not Robbie van Winkle. I like my lattes non-fat and don't fo-get the sprinkle."

"Traffic, traffic lookin' fo my chapstick, feelin' kinda car sick, there's a Ford Maverick."

Son of the Mask

Son of the Mask

Jamie had a hard time with this one, as it won and nominated awards for being a bad movie. A cartoonist anmed Tim Avery is feeling inadequate about being a father when he finds that his newborn son has some amazing abilities. The baby gains his powers from Mask of Loki, a mythological object that transforms its user into a manic shape-shifter alter-ego.

This movie received a 5 out of 100 at Rotten Tomatoes. The movie also received very harsh criticism mostly aimed at Jamie Kennedy.

Kickin It Old Skool

Kickin It Old Skool

Jamie Kennedy as Justin Schumacher is a break dancer that hits his head during a talent show. From the fall he slips into a coma for twenty years. He wakes up in 2006 not knowing what is going on (reminds me of Austin Powers). He looks to pick up where he left off in his break dancing career. His first step is to get his team back together with the help of his old crush and his parents.

This movie was another flop for Jamie, however many critics just seemed to jump on the train and pick on Jamie once again.

"Darth Maul? Jar Jar Binks? Who are these gay birds? They're not from Star Wars."

Heckler Movie Cover

Heckler

Jamie Kennedy stars in and produced this great docu-movie about Hecklers and Heckling. After starring in a film that was critically bashed, Jamie Kennedy takes on hecklers and critics and ask some interesting questions of people such as George Lucas, Bill Maher, Mike Ditka, Rob Zombie, Howie Mandel and many more. You can see lots of clicks of these people getting heckled as well as other famous celebrities as well as President Ronald Reagan. Jamie confronts several of the critics that gave him such horrible reviews of his movies.

You can win a copy of this movie right now at Blog about your Blog. Heckler will be released September 9th, 2008.

Jamie Kennedy Comedy

Jamie Kennedy Comedy

Jamie Kennedy has not only been able to make movies, he's also been funny on and off tv with his comedy.

The Jamie Kennedy Experiment

The Jamie Kennedy Experiment

Jamie Kennedy combines hidden-camera pranks with sketch comedy to see how people behave in strange and unusual situations. Jamie appears in a wide variety of disguises, getting his "marks" involved in an equally wide variety of bizarre predicaments. After the joke has been made Jamie gives the shows tag line: YOU'VE BEEN X-ED!

The show ran from Jan 2002 to Apr 2004 for three seasons.

Jamie Kennedy Unwashed

Jamie Kennedy Unwashed

Jamie Kennedy's first live comedy concert is labeled Unwashed. The show was recorded live before a sold-out audience in San Jose, CA on October 29, 2005. I've been looking for a few clips of the show and it looks great, he even deals with a Heckler on stage which is very funny. The Unwashed DVD/CD is 55 minutes of his comedy about his views on sex, family, Catholicism, television and drugs.

I enoy your work on Ghost Whisperer. I'm not much for shock comedy or prankster television. So I probably wouldn't have seen your other work without that connection (being old as I am and all!). Anyway, here's hoping you consider this a shout out and not a heckle! Kisses...
