National Puzzle Day

Another Strange Holiday

This is a very interesting day. It's always celebrated on January 29th. It's called National Puzzle Day. No one really knows when it was started or by who, and it's not really a national holiday, because that would take an act of Congress. I just thought it was an interesting thing to write a lens about.

According to www.holidayinsights.com/moreholidays/January/puzzleday.htm Crossword puzzles are the most favorite by far, closely followed by Sudoku. Then, of course, there's word finds, number finds, fill ins, number fill ins, logic puzzles, and my personal favorite, jigsaw puzzles. They delight people of all ages. Now, help me celebrate this day.

I didn't know there was a national puzzle day. Good idea: we never promote education, learning, writing and reading as much as we should.
