Japanese Domain Names

In 1999 our company, NetFocus Japan, in association with our office in Tokyo, Japan put together a team of four committed people tasked with the job of registering a portfolio of the best possible available Japanese-language domain names in the DotCom space. We based our selections on certain strict criteria mutually decided by the group. Over about one year of effort, our group purchased over 1,000 domain names; the vast majority of them single-word domains straight out of the Japanese dictionary (i.e. purely generic).

As part of our collection, we have nearly 300 coveted IDN (Internationalized Domain Names) Names as well. These are commonly referred to as 'Double Byte' Domains. We have many excellent generic word domains in both the DotCom and the DotJP spaces.

We have by far, the largest collection of premium, single-word, generic, commonly spelled Japanese domain names in the world, bar none.
