Great lensography Jeannie. It took me awhile to just read it. It must have taken you a long time to make it?

This is one of the best Lensography pages I have ever seen next to Jaguar Julie's. What an incredible Squid you are! 5 stars!

do you have a LuLu account set up yet? what's your id name over there?
  • EelKat Feb 25, 2009 @ 1:16 pm | delete
let me know if you need any help with LuLu; I know how to do all their formatting, typesetting, cover art, etc. I can set up your word processor to format the pages to match LuLu standard size (9x6").

it's free to do a book to just sell on our own off of your own website (like Squidoo) but if you want to sell your book through Amazon or local bookstores, you'll need an ISBN# which the government sells for $400 per 10 bought; however LuLu will buy the ISBNs bulk (they buy 1,000 # blocks) and than you can buy a single ISBN# for your book through them for $99 (LuLu sets it up so that it's just like you bought it through the gov; they register it in your name not theirs).

  • tandemonimom Dec 31, 2008 @ 1:09 pm | delete
WOW what a lot of info! Love all the pix personalizing the lensography, and the "I love Jeannie" and "I dream of Jeannie" stuff. I'd guess there's nothing that could stop you from making 500! I just published my 52nd lens and hoping for Giant status soon. You're an inspiration!

PS - LOL - the security word I have to type in is "dreaming!"
  • motorpurrr Dec 27, 2008 @ 1:16 am | delete
This is amazing and a lot of work. Congrats on being a giant squid. Love your old cat and cute kittens. This must be something everyone should do.

  • marsha32 Dec 9, 2008 @ 4:48 pm | delete
Looks like I have been here before but I just don't remember there being so much. You have done such an excellent job here and I really enjoyed looking at all your photos!
  • GregGiordano Nov 6, 2008 @ 2:22 pm | delete
Congratualtions on your Giant Squid designation! That is a great accomplishment. As a fellow homeschool family it is always great to see the success of like-minded home educators. Keep up the good work! By the way, Maine is one of the most beautiful states I have ever been too. It's been many years since I was there but I still remember to this day how lovely it was.
  • marsha32 Oct 27, 2008 @ 4:04 pm | delete
Great to really meet you......I'm having a lot of fun getting to know others here at squidoo....and seeing some really great lenses along the way too.
  • EelKat Sep 5, 2008 @ 2:04 pm | delete
oh, and 500 lenses is not unreasonable... I currently have 378 lenses, and should reach 500 before the end of the year, and no plans to stop either, I can see myself with well over 1,00 by this time next year!

Nice lensography. I was in Old Orchard Beach about 8 years ago, it reminded me a lot of where I grew up, Sandbanks in England. Lovely beaches, cold water (!) and I enjoyed collecting Sand Dollars at low tide too.
  • EelKat Apr 13, 2008 @ 2:10 pm | delete
I've added this lens as a featured lens on my "Lensographies I Like" lens (http://www.squidoo.com/Lensographies)
  • JaguarJulie Apr 11, 2008 @ 10:40 am | delete
Jeannie -- an adorable lens! AB to you today. I love all the cute Polaroids and esp. the cats! Have you seen my cats -- well, actual the feral cat colony I'm spaying and neutering. I've got pics in Country Club Cats and Jaguar Julie Cat Lady. ;-)

Oooh! I want to copy something from this fun lens! I'm going to look for "I Love Susan" mugs for my bio/lensography lens. Okay with you? You'll be there, too, 'cause I'm lensrolling this lens to mine. We have so much in common!
