I used to be a care assistant in a residential home for elderly people, so I did quite a bit of foot washing. Blessed by a squid angel.

Cool lens. My youth group did this many years ago. That's the only time. I've seen couples do it as part of their wedding ceremony. Such an act of service.

Jesus taught that we should love one another. The act of feet washing helps us to remain humble and remember that Jesus loves us so much, He would even wash the crud from our feet. If that doesn't humble you, I don't know what else could! Great lens!

I've asked my old church before I moved if they ever did the feet washing service and they said they didn't and I don't remember why. I never thought about asking my new church if they ever do it. Great job on this lens!

A beautiful lens! When I was being confirmed into the church as an adult one of the Priests watched my feet, it was a very moving and humbling experience.

What a magnificent lens! I love stories of Jesus. I spend about an hour a day learning about Jesus. I run a home Daycare School and part of our mornings include worship songs. I just love lenses that spread the Gospel. Great job! 5 stars!!

What a wonderful lens! Sometimes I myself get caught up in the household duties that never end and I start thinking to myself, "I am not a hired maid here", then I think of how Jesus washed thier feet and how I ask in prayer to let my life shine. Then I get ashamed of my attitude and repent of it. This is a beautiful piece of scripture and thank you for highlighting it so well in this lens! God Bless you and I hope you get huge traffic on this lens!
5 stars, fav'd, fan'd and lensrolled to my veggie tales lens!

How strange we are!? We want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection, but we think we have to become like him in his death. Nowhere did Jesus teach something like that. Whatever Paul, who wrote the letter to the Philippians, meant, it cannot be what we tend to make out of that. Paul knew better from his own experience, when Jesus came to him on his way to Damascus. There was no physical death involved. Death cannot establish the resurrection. When Jesus resurrected, we all did. "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is perfect..."

Nice lens on one of the teachings of our Savior! We can use Squidoo as one means of His commandment to: "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel".
