Accessories can sometimes make, or break, an outfit. The three most important aspects of jewelry are appearance, quality, and of course... designer. Roia O'Briens jewelry productions exceed any other designer whose products I have ever encountered. The fashionable jewelry is extremely versatile with casual beaded jewelry for everyday wear as well as elegant, exquisite pieces for special occasions. The detail and intracacy that goes into her products can only be called beautifying art. All items are handmade personally by Roia O'Brien, and possess a quality I have yet to see elsewhere. The best way to describe her masterpieces is with one word: Beautiful. Roia O'Brien is an artist and designer who produces one of a kind jewelry pieces that don't stay on the market long- for good reason. Roia's fashion jewelry statement brings history, quality, beauty, and art together as one.

Casbah Earrings 

These earrings are made using fine silver and sterling silver. Each end mimics the shape of a minaret that tops middle eastern mosques. It is completely forged by hand and Roia O'Brien added a beautiful sterling silver bead wire on the inside of each minaret silhouette. The ear wire is completely made by hand.

Casablanca Earrings 

These chandelier earrings have a definite Moroccan feel. They are made with different gauges of sterling silver wire and embellished with beautiful blue/purple faceted iolite.

Bird on a Wire Earrings 

A hummingbird sits inside a sterling silver hoop crowned with fuschia glass bead and surrounded by a collection of semi precious gemstones.

The stones include peridot, rose quartz, aquamarine, blue chalcedony, flourite and quartz.

Flora Earrings 

Sterling silver petals and faceted deep magenta rubies come together and form a beautiful flower to adorn the ear. Three rubies hang from the bottom petal, accented with sterling silver findings.

Swirly Leaves Earrings 

Roia fused fine silver to create the frame for these teardrop shaped earrings. On the inside she used sterling silver wire and shaped them to create a flowing leaf design, giving the impression of a big gust of wind blowing leaves around.

Sterling silver beads accent the curves of the stems and add a little something extra to the design.

The ear hooks were hand made using fine silver and the whole earring has been oxidized, giving it an "antique" feel.

Nouveau Earrings 

A few ideas from the art nouveau movement were borrowed to produce these one of a kind earrings. I love the oxidized silver serpentine curves that surround the amazing faceted peach citrine stone. Smokey quartz teardrops give the earrings a beautiful and playful movement.


The measurements are 2 1/2" tall and a little over 1 1/4" wide.

Lantern Earrings 

A chinese lantern shaped agate is the centerpiece in this simple yet elegant pair of earrings. The agate is sandwiched between two different shades and shapes of citrine. Three robin's egg blue amazonite beads dangle at the bottom like delicate little tassles. As always Roia O'Brien used oxidized sterling silver throughout.



The earrings measure about 2 1/4" long and the agate stone is 1/2" wide.

Jaded 

A carved jade flower is the focal point in this petite pair of earrings. Suspended from handmade fine silver ear wires are small aquamarine faceted rondelles and hanging at the bottom of the carved jade flower is a gorgeous faceted green amethyst briollette. These earrings have been made with oxidized sterling silver wire.



Measurements:
2" long and 1/2" wide at the widest part of the jade flower.

Taj Earrings

These earrings were inspired by the beauty and vibrance of Indian jewelry. They are completely handmade using oxidized sterling silver wire.
A halo of lovely faceted green peridot frames the gorgeous hot pink dyed jade briolette. Crowning the pink jade are several small dangling rubies. The whole piece is topped with a round olive colored nephrite jade bead.



Notice: I bought these earrings and therefore they are now SOLD. The quality is better than anything I have seen and am very happy with them!

Byzantium Earrings 

The lovely gold filled and oxidized silver wire in these earrings compliment each other beautifully! It was distressed at the wire to give it an ancient feel. Oxidized sterling silver chain is draped from the earrings and the beautiful faceted smokey quartz briolette makes an alluring centerpiece.



The earrings measure 1 1/2". With the chain at the bottom added it measures 2 1/4" long. The ear wire is 3/4" in length. The width is a little over 1 1/2" wide

Curlicue Earrings 



These hoops look fantastic on! I fused fine silver to make the main part of the structure and I added hand forged sterling silver wire scrolls to give it a feminine touch. The ear hook is also make from fine silver. These earrings are very versatile, you can pretty much wear them with anything!




The measurements are: Almost 1 1/2" long and 1 1/4" wide.

Confetti Earrings 

The combination of the faceted cornflower blue chalcedony, the deep red of the garnet and the grey blue of the labradorite is stunning! For a little extra splash of color Roia O'Brien added tiny lavender pearls intermittently. These earrings are long enough to almost touch your shoulders. from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the garnet briolette.


They measure 3 1/4".

Deep Blue Sea Necklace 

The nautilus shaped pendant is the focal point of this unique necklace, but the color of the stones and pearls that cover it are what really catch your eye!

It is embellished with labradorite, iolite, pearls, and multi-colored tourmaline. A gorgeous, irridescent labradorite drop hangs at the very bottom of the pendant.

The chain is handmade and has labradorite and pearl accents every inch or so.



This necklace measures about 11". The pendant is 2 1/4" long.

Persian Filligree Necklace 

This necklace was made with findings from an antique Persian earring. The sterling silver pendant is handmade and embellished with beautiful iridescent labradorite beads. The filligree pieces in the center are dripping with labradorite briolettes.



The pendant measures 3 1/4" long and a little over 2" wide. the chain measures 8 1/4" long from the pendant to the clasp.

Garden Party Necklace 

This feminine necklace is so fun to wear. It's like a little piece of art around your neck!

I used sterling silver and fine silver wire to form the shapes of the flowers, leaves and vines. It all sits atop a sterling silver border.

The chain and clasp are also sterling silver. I left a little extra chain so that it can be adjustable and added the sweetest little silver acorn that hangs on the back of your neck. It's all about the details.



The Pendant measures almost 3" across and the chain is about 7 1/2" long with an 1 1/2" added for adjustment.

Intricate Citrine Necklace 

The delicate filligree design of this necklace was handmade with oxidized sterling silver wire, and beautiful citrine gemstones. The chain is completely handmade and is a wonderful compliment to the victorian style pendant. A dainty hessionite garnet briolette hangs from the bottom.

The pendant measures 2" long and a little over 1 1/2" wide. Each side of the chain measures 10" long.

Lulu- Peyote Beaded Bracelet 

Handmade Art Deco style copper clasps adorn this beautiful beaded bracelet. The image of Louise Brooks, the original flapper is beaded using a peyote stitch. All the shading is created with various colored seed beads placed in just the right position to create an almost photographic effect. A copper lobster clasp and handmade chain, embellished with pale mint swarovski crystals and vintage charms secure Louise to your wrist at whatever length will fit you best.



Without the lobster clasp and chain this bracelet measures 5 3/4". The chain measures 4 1/4" and the lobster clasp and attachment measure 1".

Oui Oui- Peyote Beaded Bracelet 

This bracelet will put a smile on any francophile's face. It is completely hand beaded with tiny size 15 glass seed beads, and embellished with raw brass findings.

What really stands out is the color of the sky. I chose the most perfect blue tones I could find to make the best backdrop possible for the eiffel tower.

As with all my beaded bracelets, this one is fully adjustable and will wrap perfectly around your wrist.



The length, not counting the hook and chain is 5 1/2", the hook measures 1", and the chain measures 4" from the top to the last charm. The width is 2 1/4".

Louis XVI- Peyote Beaded Bracelet 

The doomed french king Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette's husband, is brought to life one bead at a time in this beautiful handmade bracelet.

Gorgeous blueish gray glass seed beads compliment the handmade copper clasp and labradorite detail.

A loom was not used in the creation of this bracelet. The beads are woven using a peyote technic which allows me to capture the shadows and highlights so nicely.

This is a one of a kind design and will never be reproduced.



The measurement from the tip of the crown to the tail of the cross is a little over 5 1/2" long. The adjustable chain is made with copper and labradorite and measures about 4" long. The copper lobster clasp and attachment measure 1".

Confection Earrings 

Aptly named, lavender candy jade faceted briolettes hang from the center of these adorable two tiered earrings. The tiers are completely handmade and wire wrapped with oxidized sterling silver wire. The earrings are dainty yet eye catching. Perfect for someone who doesn't like to wear large earrings but still wants to stand out.



These earrings measure 1 1/2" without the ear wire. The ear wire is 3/4" long. The width is 3/4".

Baroque Necklace

The inspiration for this necklace was a photograph of a medieval painting
Roia came across. She had to make this to get it out of her system!

All the metal is sterling silver. The pendant is stuffed with the most beautiful blue velvet I have ever seen. The top of the pendant is corseted closed with silver wire and the piece that is hanging from the pendant has a crown charm in the middle stuffed with more blue velvet. The chain is completely handmade to bring the whole thing together.



The pendant with the hanging charm is just under 2" long and 2" wide. The chain measures about 10" from the centerpiece to the clasp.
