Jim Parsons
Prior to TBBT Parsons' television credits included a recurring role in the CBS series Judging Amy and a guest starring appearance on the show Ed. He has also been on the big screen in movies including Garden State, Heights, 10 Items or Less, School for Scoundrels, On the Road with Judas, and Gardener of Eden.

- I watch both "The Big Bang Theory" and "Chuck", so on Monday nights I am really able to enjoy some geek-oriented comedies! I like Jim's droll portrayal of Sheldon and the way that the character is so self-absorbed as to be entirely oblivious to his (endearing) social ineptitude. The episode in which everyone tries to keep Sheldon from finding out that Penny has fired a paintball into his "spot" on the sofa and that Leonard has been picking up Chinese food for him from a different restaurant and re-boxing the takeout food (because his favorite restaurant went out of business) was a classic! I'm glad to see that Jim is a fellow Texan. Thank you Christene, for this lens!
