Jimmy Buffett has been one of my favorite entertainers for almost three decades. I fell in love with his music the first time I heard Margaritaville and I've enjoyed almost all of his songs since then.

    I've been a fan of his since the 70's. I've sung his songs; I've read his books; but I became a true devotee only eight years ago. When I was going through my divorce Jimmy Buffett was always there for me. 24/7. He could make me laugh, pause, take stock and carry on just one more day. Hell, he crashed a seaplane and played tennis the next day! He's warm, charming, literate and soulful. I admire him as I do few others. I suppose I should be telling this to him (perhaps one day I'll get that opportunity), but I'm sharing it with you.

    Jimmy's music will always be great. When I contemplated moving to Costa Rica, I heard one of his songs. I thought it was a sign. I made the move and never looked back. One of the best decisions of my life.
