A Little About Me
Or... in a nutshell!
I live in Northern Arizona, USA, and have been working as a massage therapist since 1983! I also practice Reconnective Healing, write (I have published two books and am working on the next two), and assist my darling and oh so very talented husband, Harlan Mark Vale with the details of his music career.
Curious by nature, I have a lot of varied interests, as you can tell by the wide variety of lenses that I create! My biggest passion is my own spiritual growth, which is why you will find so many lenses with a spiritual theme. I love to read and explore my natural surroundings. I meditate a minimum of an hour a day, and sometimes twice that long, a practice which nourishes my soul and keeps me sane during life's challenges.
I adore my dog and cat, Sombra and Chesalon, respectively, who will have their own lenses shortly, I am sure! They are wonderful and love me even when I behave badly. Isn't that a gift?
I also run a bookstore for my church, The Center for Spiritual Living Prescott, which allows me to buy ANY book that delights my spirit and share it with the people I love! Sometimes, I feel like Santa Claus in this role! In the past year, I have moved this store from a paper based system, to a computer with bar-coding and internet, and inventory backup. At some point, I expect to implement credit card processing and upload the inventory to an on-line store for a 21st Century shopping experience. Perhaps, even in my lifetime!
Squidoo has been an answer to prayer for me! I can write about anything that moves me in the moment, and publish it as I see fit!

- I had to thank you again for the info on the rss feed to make a lens. I like it because the content is updated whenever Squidoo updates lenranks. I like keeping my lenses updated...that's a lot of work. ~ Yesterday a spent most of the day outside, taught my granddaughter how to make sandcastles. Now, that was fun, been awhile since I played in sand. The artist in my was free! :)

- Susie, you make me laugh! Isn't Squidoo an outlet for frustrated writers??? I'll email you directly on the RSS feed (just as soon as I can remember what I did!). Sounds like a topic for another lens, doesn't it?
