Joe "J-Lau" Lauzon, born May 22, 1984, is a professional mixed martial arts fighter out of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, born in Brockton,MA. He graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in computer science and is currently working as a network administrator.In February of 2004 Lauzon was named Massachusetts fighter of the year by MassMMA.net. This seems to have been an easy decision as his record was at 7-0 for 2004.(see it here)

Lauzon was a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 5, on team Penn. He stayed on top until episode eleven where in the first semifinal bout, Manvel Gamburyan defeated Lauzon by unanimous decision after three rounds.
Currently he is in Hilo, Hawaii training, with BJ Penn, for his next big fight.
When is his next fight? He will be fighting Jason Reinhardt, November 17th, at UFC78 in New Jersey (read more here)
