John McDermott

John McDermott is the Co-Founder of Pathways Business Associates, and a  maverick both in his professional and personal life. 

As a former investment banker with City Corporation, and former, CEO of an asset management firm handling the business affairs of professional athletes, John firmly believes in the ability to have a successful professional life without sacrificing the higher priority of having a successful family life.  Through his own combination of talent, skills, and personal belief system, John was able to leave the financial services industry and devote himself to being the father and family leader he always wanted to be.

A graduate of Penn State University with his B.A. in Finance, and a M.B. A. graduate of Fordham University, John is now living the lifestyle he always believed was possible. In addition, he serves as a coach for all of his four children's sports, and as a role model of a truly successful husband, father, and community leader for others both locally, state wide, and internationally.
